Réginald Boucher was born in Madawaska on January 27, 1928. His forebears are from Québec. He married Lucille Marquis of Acadian ancestry and they had three children: Sharon, Joyce, and Nancy.Réginald is now retired following a career as a Paper Maker in theMadawaska mills. One of his first paintings, "La Mer/Night Surf", convinced him that, "Si j'peux faire ça, j'peux en faire aucun." With no formal training, his brush discovers the scene on his canvas.

Réginald Boucher est né à Madawaska, Maine le 27 janvier, 1928. Ses ancêtres sont du Québec. Il a épousé Lucille Marquis, Acadienne. Ils sont les parents de trois enfants: Sharon, Joyce, et Nancy. Réginald est maintenant à la retraite suivant une carrière come "Paper Maker". Une de ses premières peintures, "La Mer/Night Surf" l'a persuadé que, " Si j'peux faire ça, j'peux en faire aucun." Sans entrainement formel, son pinceau découvre la scène sur sa toile.
