Denis LadouxDenis Ledoux, ­­writer, teacher, editor, lecturer­­ drew heavily on autobiographical material for his short story collections, What Became of Them & Other Stories from Franco-America. His second collection of short stories, Mountain Dance, was chosen for the 1990 Maine Arts Commission's Fiction Award and, in both 1991 and 1996, he was made Maine Writing Fellow.

Through the TMIM Workshops, Ledoux has taught thousands of people to turn their life experiences into well-written memoirs for themselves and their families. He holds a Master's degree in Education and has taught at both the secondary and the university levels. Today, Ledoux directs a network of Turning Memories Affiliates, professional teachers and workshop leaders who offer TMIM programs and workshops nationwide.
